AmbleLoop uses a small number of cookies. This page explains what they do. The banner at the bottom of the screen lets you accept all, accept only the necessary ones, or reject everything.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies are used to remember preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how visitors use the site.
2. Cookies we use
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ambleloop-cookie-consent-v1 | Necessary | Remembers your cookie choice so the banner doesn’t keep reappearing | 1 year |
| ambleloop-theme | Necessary | Remembers your light or dark mode preference | 1 year |
| ambleloop-scroll | Necessary | Tracks the step counter widget across pages within a session | Session |
That’s the entire list at the time of writing. AmbleLoop does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on the marketing site. If that changes, this page will be updated and we will surface a new consent prompt.
3. Your choices
You can:
- Accept all: all cookies above are set
- Necessary only: same effect as accept all on this site today, because all current cookies are necessary
- Reject all: no cookies are set, including the consent cookie. You’ll see the banner again on your next visit.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also clear cookies directly through your browser settings. The Information Commissioner’s Office has a guide at ico.org.uk/your-data-matters/online/cookies.
